The Inspection Toolkit Suite fills the
"Gap" to speed the integration of UGS's Tecnomatix eMPower Quality©
products into
new and existing lab and shopfloor production metrological environments.
It is a 3-in-1 application which provides an inspection JobBuilder to define and
package inspection related data
for information rich interoperable environments
and consuming applications such as InspectIt!. InspectIt! is an Inspection front-end wrapper
to simplify the user interface and provide built-in checks and verifications to
insure accuracy and assurance. Last but not least the suite includes a .dml graphical reporting solution allowing operators to fully understand the results of the inspection in only seconds. Together the suite simplifies, and automates programming as well
as tasks on the shopfloor so programmers and machine operators both can concentrate
on metrology and manufacturing process, not the Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM).

programmer simply picks JobBuilder(c) from the eMPower Quality menu for a seamless

Suite refines the flow of packaging inspection related data and information required
for downstream processes and consumers. The suite provides programmers the tools
to manage job specific information, such
as work instructions, special notes, and input requirements from the CMM operators.
Configuration is easy through the use of templates to minimize repetitive tasks. |

The Inspection Toolkit Suite automates so you don't have too. JobBuilder allows
dynamic configuration of the whole system. CMM Programmers are not required to know
any programming languages to get the job done. |

> Derived Tolerances®
Derived Tolerances provide a method for programmers to create new tolerances
based upon other tolerances in simple or complex formulas using the built-in Derived
Tolerance calculator. Creating tolerance such as taper or calculating area using
multiple standard tolerances are greatly simplified and require no coding expertise
to calculate or report them. |

> Full encapsulation of the Inspection Job
All the aformentioned information , configuration, settings, derived tolerances,
tolerance attributes, etc are stored within the "Inspection Job" created by the
JobBuilder. The information is forever encapsulated with its revision record. |

The Inspection Toolkit Suite provides the tools to directly evaluate errors
that occur during program execution. InspectIt! the front-end inspection wrapper
of UGS Tecnomatix eM-Inspector©
will react to errors that occur during program execution. InspectIt! instills integrity
in the system by evaluating error conditions and determining if probe tips should
be check and verified after such errors as an unexpected hit. |
