Features

InspectIt!® is a wrapper to UGS Tecnomatix eMInspector©. InspectIt! is the graphical user interface by which the CMM operator interacts to enter inspection related information and to run the inspection program. InspectIt!® was developed to better support inplementation and integration into new and existing inspection environements. InspectIt!® is a consumer of an "Inspection Job", or output generated by JobBuilder®.

InspectIt! will interface with eMInspector and will react to errors that occur during program execution. InspectIt will instill integrity into the system by evaluating error conditions and determining if probe tips should be checked and verified after unexpected hits etc.

> eMInspector Wrapper InspectIt!® wraps eMInspector to provide better support, integration, and control over the user interface and inspection application.
> Supports hundreds or thousands of inspection programs InspectIt!® can handle hundreds or thousands of inspection programs and allows the user to quickly select them for execution. It is straight-forward and simple to use.
> Low/No Training Required  InspectIt!®  was designed to be simple to use, and straight forward for anyone to use. Part of our software tests include an 8yr old child without instruction other than the basic principles of the task.. ie "run that part on that CMM", then "Tell me what tolerances passed, failed and by how much."
> InspectIt!® provides information rich content Since InspectIt!® is a consumer of the JobBuilder's "Inspection Job" it can be as information rich as the site, or programmer wishes. Remember the job is preserved as an encapsulated entity which can be shared among different origins of execution. InspectIt reacts to the job and displays content as prescribed by the CMM programmer via JobBuilder.  Since JobBuilder leverages templates standardization of jobs is easily attained, but is still flexible to react to special situations that require extended functionality in specific inspection jobs, for example, if an ambient temperature was required to be entered by an operator for a special study, it could easily be added via JobBuilder and InspectIt would display a user control for the operator to enter the information. The data can then be leveraged later in a Derived Tolerance or downstream applications.
> Provides fully configurable user input for InspectIt! InspectIt!® automatically calls DMLToolkit after the inspection is complete. DMLToolkit displays the graphical results of the inspection and generates the configured results reports which optionally can be printed automatically.
> Control the inspection interface Maximizes control over the inspection interface. Designed for customization and extensibility by eMProbeCAD users NOT developers.
> Windows Lockdown Compliant Some of our customers have a locked down customized image of Windows. This means that users of the system have no direct access to the computers filesystem through InspectIt!®.  InspectIt!® is fully compliant of this restriction.
